Have you wanted to dabble in making your own clothes but have felt intimidated by the process? This is definitely the class for you. In Class 1 we will cover the bases from measuring for a great fit, using a sewing pattern, and cutting the fabric pieces. In class 2, we will be sewing your new top or dress (the choice is yours).
Some previous sewing skills are needed for this project but by no means are advanced skills needed. Space is very limited for this class so sign up early!
Supplies needed (The shop can help you with all):
– Pattern (available at the shop)
– Pattern drafting paper/fabric
– Pencil
– Fabric in the appropriate yardage for size
– Interfacing
– Thread
– Sewing Machine (class 2 only)
– Scissors and or Rotary Cutter
– Cutting mat if using Rotary cutter
– Marking pencil
– Pins
– Stitch Ripper
