Pants No. 1: Beginner Sewing Class

Pants no. 1 is an elastic-waist pair of cropped pants with a relaxed fit. You’ll be surprised how simply the pant comes together. Also, once you learn the basics, you’ll be able to hack the pattern to suit your style.
Mid-weight linen, cotton decor weight, or natural fiber blend
Beginner. You should know your way around your sewing machine.
Instructor will supply:
Tracing paper for pattern
-Pant No.1 pattern
-3/4″ (19mm) wide elastic – 1.5 yards (1.4 meters)
-Pencil for tracing pattern
-Fabric for pants
-Dress weights. Instructor will have some but not enough for all students.
-Thread to match project
-Sewing machine. You can also rent one from the Shop.
-Disappearing ink pen
-General sewing supplies
Due to Covid, we won’t be able to share supplies as we would normally. Please remember to bring whatever you might need to complete the project.
