Free Motion Quilting with Deb
April 9 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
April 9, 1:00 to 4:00 pm | $35
Prerequisite: Free Motion Quilting Class from March 26
In this class you will learn to correctly prepare your quilt for free motion quilting on your machine and begin quilting it.
You will prepare and bring to class:
A minimum 36″ quilt top. Please don’t spend excessive time making elaborate blocks for this class. You can even use unfinished blocks from old projects sewn together into 12″ blocks.
If you don’t have time to put blocks together, simply cut pieces of whole fabric (prints or solids) into 12″ squares and sew them together to create a 3′ x 3′ or 4′ x 4′ quilt top.
Cut the quilt backing and backing so you have 3″ of batting showing on all sides of the quilt top.
*You need at least a 48″ square of cotton batting for a 36″ quilt. (NO polyester batting please.)
