Drawstring bag with Fred
February 20, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

February 20, 1:00 to 4:00 pm | $35 | Registration required
Join Fred and learn how to make one of these incredibly useful and versatile drawstring bags. They are reversible and can be easily made with 1/8 yard fabric bundles.
Each bag is detailed with a unique drawstring channel as well as an expandable bottom so it holds a lot. Once you learn how to make one you’ll want to make more! They make great gifts, great project bags, great everything bags. Plus, you’ll learn tips and techniques that you can use for other projects, such as topstitching and “Seams Easy” construction.
Supplies needed
—3 fabric pieces 9 inches wide by 21, 22, or 23 inches long. (Salvage on at least one edge will be helpful).

—Marking chalk, pen, or pencil (very important)
—90/14 Topstitch needle
—40 wt Topstitch thread
—Sewing machine (Knit One Quilt Too has ones available for rent if you don’t want to lug yours.)
