Chair Caning with Dee

Turn your basement treasure into a family heirloom. Learn the lost art of hand cane-weaving. Students will learn the 6 steps of traditional hexagonal pattern chair seats. A few supplies from home are needed for the class (See the supply list in this description).

-plastic bucket
-sponge
-utility knife
-old scissors
-awl
-appropriate size cane for chair (will be available for purchase in class)
-chair for class (make sure there are loops under the cane hole)
